AJ Design obtained planning permission and listed building consent for a large extension to a care home in West Cornwall.
The new works will provide the care home with a further seven bedrooms, a dedicated laundry room / facility to serve the 45 residents and a staff training room.
The council approved the works despite the proposals being located outside a recognised development area and the loss of several protected trees.
