For peace of mind we can appoint a contractor on your behalf and administer a contract between the builder and you. If you wish to appoint us to carry out onsite services we will visit the project at regular stages during the build and:
hold a pre-start meeting with you and your builder
inspect the works to ensure they are in accordance with the approved drawings
carry out a monthly valuation of works in progress and agree an interim payment to your builder
agree to retain a sum from each interim payment for release upon satisfactory completion of the works
agree any variations of the works, additional works or savings
hold regular meetings between you and the builder
monitoring a twelve month defect liability period and arrange for the builder to rectify any defects occurring
agree the final account
issue stage architect's certificates
If your project is of a commercial nature we can also carry out cdm principal designer duties.
If you wish we can extend our onsite services to include full project management services, including:
- liaison between all trades to ensure a smooth build process
- liaison with utilities and service providers
- project management
Please note, to allow us to manage our workload and resources, we can only offer
onsite services if we are commissioned to do so at the time of our appointment.
